A journey beyond eclipse day

What your Egypt journeyreally feels like

Egypt has more to offer than one extraordinary afternoon. Build a route with time for its ancient places, its river, and the way you like to travel.

Morning light over the pyramids at Giza

Cairo

Stand beneath the pyramids

Walk through Giza with time to take it in. Build museum visits and guided touring around your curiosity, rather than a crowded checklist.

Sandstone columns at a Luxor temple

Luxor

Walk through ancient worlds

Temple columns, royal tombs, and stories that stretch back millennia. A private Egyptologist can bring the history into focus.

Before you ask

The questions peopleask first

When will I receive my plan?

+

We deliver the agreed plan within 14 calendar days after complete traveler intake. If we miss that deadline, we refund the full $1,000 planning fee and still finish the plan. This guarantee covers planning delivery, not weather, supplier availability, or travel performance.

What is the $1,000 planning fee?

+

It pays Eclipse Travels for research, route design, supplier comparisons, booking preparation, and a coordinated digital itinerary. It is separate from every travel purchase. Your first consultation is complimentary. You pay the planning fee only after reviewing and accepting a written proposal specifying the scope, revisions, delivery timing, cancellation terms, and support.

What do the travel budgets cover?

+

They are illustrative budgets for two travelers sharing a room, not package quotes. Airfare, dates, hotels, and availability affect the total. Your cost summary identifies inclusions, exclusions, and optional extras. Jordan is additional.

How does booking work?

+

You receive a custom route, supplier options, cost summary, and booking order. You generally book suppliers directly. Prices and availability are not secured until reservations are confirmed; supplier terms apply.

Can you book on my behalf?

+

Assisted booking may be discussed during the consultation. It is available only under a separate written authorization process. Never send payment-card details through this form or email.

What if prices change or Luxor options sell out?

+

Airlines, hotels, rail operators, and guides control their own prices and inventory. We compare alternatives and adjust the plan with you; no flight, room, cabin, tour, or viewing location is held until confirmed with its supplier.

Can I personalize the journey?

+

Yes. We shape the route around your departure airport, pace, hotel preferences, and must-see places. Solo travelers, families, and small groups are welcome. Rail, domestic air, and Jordan can all be explored.

Can I travel by sleeper train?

+

Yes, when the schedule and cabin inventory fit your route. A domestic flight is generally quicker. We compare the tradeoffs and coordinate professionally driven station or airport transfers; you do not need to self-drive.

Can you plan below $6,000 or above $12,000?

+

Tell us your budget. The published ranges are examples for two, and eclipse-period rates may make a lower budget impractical. We can also design a more private or higher-comfort route without implying every upgrade will fit a particular range.

Can I add Petra and the Dead Sea?

+

Yes, as a separate Jordan extension. Petra is planned through an organized or professionally driven excursion, with no rental car required. Length, airfares, hotels, admissions, and private versus shared touring determine the final cost.

Are visas, meals, insurance, and admissions included?

+

They are separate travel expenses unless a confirmed supplier quote expressly includes them. Your plan will identify expected costs and an entry-requirements checklist for your route. You remain responsible for current passport and visa requirements and insurance decisions.

Is eclipse visibility guaranteed?

+

No. Weather and atmospheric conditions cannot be guaranteed. We plan arrival margin, viewing access, and transport around totality. Safe solar-viewing equipment is essential during partial phases.

What happens after I inquire?

+

Samuel replies personally to discuss your route and priorities. You receive the proposed scope, timeline, revisions, and support arrangements before deciding how to proceed. The inquiry does not reserve travel.
